Conceptualization

The American artist Kristin Reger asked us if we could, based on drawings that she had, make two works of 2 meters each that would be hung from the sky with firm materials (fiberglass and copper) for her expo in Zona Maco 2021 in Mexico City. in the Hermitage building.

To carry out the process, we first started by laying out everything in 3D and doing tests in mathlab and in engineering programs in order to project the natural effects that the work would face over time and that it also not suffer damage. that it not collapse and fall since the exhibition in Zona Maco, the place that was arranged for the show, had a height of almost 20 meters and we had to project everything from lighting, electricity, installation and work at height.

3D

Working in 3D allowed us to have more clarity on the dimensions of the shapes and thus be able to define with the artist before having the body produced that everything she had in mind was being interpreted. Once this process is finished we move on to production.
